A sewer deployment: the Ferret lowered through a manhole, driving the pipe, and the crew at the base station

Autonomous sewer inspection crawlers

BUILT FOR PIPE SERVICE PROVIDERS

Take on tougher inspections. Deliver more from every run.

Difficult pipework, equipment downtime and demanding reporting requirements put pressure on your crews and margins. The Ferret gives you the capability to inspect challenging assets hands-free, maintain equipment through swappable components and deliver detailed condition data to your clients. Co-designed with sewer and wastewater service providers around the work your business depends on.

  • 01Navigate bends, intersections, vertical pipes, flow and damaged sections
  • 02Let the robot navigate while your operator assesses pipe condition
  • 03Swap components for fast maintenance and less time out of service
  • 04Deliver 360° HD footage, exact asset location and detailed 3D pipe geometry

NAVIGATION

Hands-free navigation. Operator-led assessment.

The Ferret autonomously traverses corners, intersections, vertical pipes, flow and damaged sections. It can even flip without interrupting the inspection. Your CCTV operator can concentrate on identifying and assessing defects, with manual control available whenever needed.

UNIVERSAL NAVIGATION

Two modes. Broader inspection capability.

Deploy the Ferret in compression mode for DN150–DN300 pipes or crawler mode for DN150–DN1500 pipes. Cover a wider range of sewer and stormwater assets with one robot, extending the inspection work your crews can undertake.

DATA

Give your clients more from every inspection

Capture continuous full HD 360° footage, exact asset location, a dense point cloud and a photogrammetric reconstruction of the pipe. Provide the evidence your clients need for condition assessment, structural analysis and ovality assessment. PuralinkOS supports WSAA coding, WinCan exports and delivery into client asset-management systems. NASSCO-PACP support is coming soon.

BASE STATION

Manage the run. Assess the condition.

Give your operator a connected workspace for managing the Ferret and assessing the inspection. The Grading Co-Pilot assists with condition coding while the operator reviews findings. Live cloud sync connects fieldwork with PuralinkOS, and manual takeover keeps control with your crew when the job requires it.

MANHOLE TRANSITIONS

Inspect multiple sections from one deployment

The Ferret traverses manhole chambers and enters the outgoing pipe, allowing your crew to continue across multiple sections without retrieving and redeploying at each access point. Reduce repeated setups and keep the inspection progressing through the network.
